2. What data we process and why
a) Purchase and delivery of the course (legal basis: performance of a contract)
When you order the course we process your name, e-mail address, billing details you provide, information about your order and payment status, and the access credentials to your user account. Without this data we cannot deliver the course.
b) Legal obligations (legal basis: compliance with law)
We keep tax and accounting records of issued receipts as required by Czech law, typically for 10 years.
c) Support communication (legal basis: legitimate interest)
When you write to us, we process your e-mail address and the content of the communication in order to reply and resolve your request.
d) Commercial communications (legal basis: consent, or legitimate interest towards existing customers)
If you consent, or if you are our customer, we may occasionally send you e-mails related to the course or similar content. Every such e-mail contains a working unsubscribe link and our identification, and we honour opt-outs promptly (in line with the EU ePrivacy rules, the US CAN-SPAM Act and Canada's CASL). You can also opt out at any time by writing to us.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects.
3. Card payments
Payments are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., and its affiliates). Card numbers are entered directly into Stripe's secured environment - we never see or store your card details. Stripe processes your data as described in its own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy).
4. Who helps us process data
We use a small number of processors, each only to the extent necessary:
- FAPI Business s.r.o. (fapi.cz, Czech Republic) - sales system: orders, receipts, e-mails related to your purchase
- Stripe - payment processing

- Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) - delivery of e-mails from our domain
- Google LLC - our support mailbox
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (in particular in the United States). In such cases the transfer is safeguarded by the European Commission's adequacy decision (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or by standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep data
- data connected to your purchase: for the duration of your access and then for the time required by tax law (typically 10 years from the transaction)
- support communication: for up to 3 years after the last message
- data processed on the basis of consent: until you withdraw the consent
6. Cookies and analytics
The website currently uses only what is technically necessary for it to work (for example remembering your login in the members area). We do not use advertising or analytics cookies without your consent. If we introduce analytics or advertising measurement in the future, the website will first ask for your consent through a cookie banner and this policy will be updated.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access your personal data and obtain a copy,
- have inaccurate data corrected,
- have data erased where there is no longer a legal ground to keep them,
- restrict processing,
- data portability,
- object to processing based on legitimate interest,
- withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing).
To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@marriageincrisis.com. We will reply without undue delay, at the latest within one month.

8. Information for visitors from the United States and other countries
We are a small European company and we treat everyone's data by the standards described above, wherever you live.
California and other US states. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising purposes, and we do not use it for automated decisions with legal effects. Although our company does not meet the thresholds that make the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) formally applicable, we voluntarily honour the same kinds of requests it provides for - access, deletion and correction. Just write to hello@marriageincrisis.com.
Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and elsewhere. We likewise honour access, correction and deletion requests from any visitor or customer, and our marketing e-mails always contain an unsubscribe link.
