Rebuilding trust after an affair: what actually helps, and what only looks like it
An affair does something few other events in a marriage do: it splits time into before and after. Whatever you believed about your relationship needs rewriting, and both of you know it. What happens next is less determined than the despair suggests - but it depends on getting a few things right that most couples, understandably, get wrong.

Have we grown apart - or have we just stopped looking?
It is one of the gentlest-sounding verdicts a couple can reach: we just grew apart. No villain, no affair, no shouting - only two people who woke up one decade into a shared life and realized they are strangers who know each other's coffee order. We would like to take that gentle sentence apart, because in our experience it hides more than it explains.
